Mental help for mma fight?
hi i have mma fight on the 19th march.i want to know what should i go in there thinking, also what i tend to do is i dont hit them hard till they hit me hard. do you guys have any tips
What is the point of trying to get the underhook in mma fighting?
that's the stupidest thing i've ever seen, i kept watching mma and i still can't figure out what is the advantage of getting the underhook when wrestling. if a guy has his two hands underneath my arm pit, that means both my hands are free above his shoulders, i can punch his head with both hands. also, i can elbow him as hard as i can with both hands to each side of his head. and yet, i never see any fighter do that, they just keep fighting to get that stupid underhook, are they stupid or something?

When i play video mma game i am amazing at if if they try to strike i take them down and tap them out, if they?
try to take me down i catch them in a sub and tap them out, if they dont do anything and play runaway what do i do? i take them down and apply a tapout move, help them up and send them packing... how will my skills demonstrate if i fight real mma? i think i can make it big time in no time, the same principles apply in video mma as in real mma.

I am 15 and every friday me and some other guys free fight in mixed martial arts we use UFC gloves im so far 12 0 and am planing on being in the UFC in the future, im very good and very exiting but I want to show people what I can do I already have parents permission I live in Illinios so someone please tell me some places in this state I have great potential and want to show it. A Question for the MMA Fans?
I've been active on Y A for about a month now, and I've noticed alot of MMA fanboys insult the sport of Boxing. They say things like " MMA fighters would kill a boxer" or " boxing is a p u s s y sport" etc. I enjoy both sports, but I prefer boxing more for many reasons. sure SOME boxing fanboys insult MMA as well, but I dont see it nearly as often as the MMA side. Plus 80 % if not more of the fights people want to see in boxing never happen or happen way too late and the top two boxers in the world are a roider and a guy that has made a career out of ducking" THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT Ray Mercer is OLD So is James Toney, so they opt for MMA." all boxers do is hit each other with pillows and hug at any given opportunity." obviously you've never been hit with boxing gloves..boxing gloves are 2 or 3 more ounces than mma gloves, and their made to protect the fighters hands, not the opponent. and I actually see mma fighters in a clinch whether standing or on the mat more than boxers, so that statement is irrelevant
