Looking for some sort of martial arts for kids.?
can anyone recommend a good form of martial arts that teached discipline and defense mostly as well as a little of offense. I have a 5 and 11 year old that I would like to get them into, both girls, my son is to small still. Mostly for the 5 year old as she is small in size, weight and from experience she will get teased alot so I want her to be able to defend herself against bigger kids if need be, not to be aggressive though.

I was thinking of Shaolin Kung Fu...But would like feedback before I do any further discussion with instructor.... My child is 6 and very well behaved in case you are wondering if my kid is a terror....LOL

I am considering putting my children in Martial Arts. My daughter is 7 and my son is 5. What do I need to know? I am doing it for the dicipline, self defense, exercise, things like that. Which type would be best? What should I look for when choosing a school? Is there anything else I should consider?
